Getting there takes an approximately three and a half hour journey from Panama City along the Pan American Highway to Divisa where you turn left. The trip to Pedasi, at the tip of the peninsula, takes another half hour of meandering through a number of attractive, small colonial towns and beautiful rolling hills as your backdrop along the way.
If you can’t wait to get there, Panamanian airline Aeroperlas flies to Pedasi twice a week, Mondays and Fridays in comfortable, 1-hour flights which cost $150 roundtrip. Regardless of whether you travel by road or air though, the magnificent charm and beauty of Pedasi will take your breath away the second you set foot on it with its brightly painted houses and flower-lined Main Street. Because of this, the ton has become the center of much tourist activity.
